It's Going to Take Time

Chances are, it's taken you years to get the extra weight you're currently trying to lose.  I don't know anyone who woke up the next morning and weighed 20 pounds more than they did when they went to bed.
Yet, a lot of us feel that we worked out hard enough yesterday that we should've lost at least a couple of pounds, so we are disppointed when the scale doesn't move, or, even worse, when you gained a pound overnight.
If you're doing weight loss correctly, it should take you a long time.  After all, you're not just trying to lose weight, but trying to make a lifestyle change.
I can see the change in myself over the past few weeks.  Some of it is physically, but a lot of it is mentally and emotionally.  I don't think about food as much as I did.  Food is no longer a reward.  (In fact, I rewarded myself yesterday by buying a used punching bag for $20.  You gotta love the classifieds!)
If I can do this, anyone can.
And I can do this.
