I should probably start this post by saying that I am a food addict. Actually, I am an unhealthy food addict. I wouldn't be in the boat I'm in right now if I were addicted to celery.
Nope, I'm a burger & fry guy. Any type of burger, covered in bacon and dripping with melted cheese.
And french fries, dipped in fry sauce (a Utah concoction made of mayo and ketchup). To me, there is nothing better than that.
In fact, up until recently, the main source of vegetables I had was the lettuce, tomato and pickle on my burgers. (Yes, I know tomato is a fruit. That's not the point.)
And if that isn't enough, I am also a fan of snacks. If it weren't for me, Hostess would probably be out of business.
But something has happened on the way to healthy. I no longer crave these foods. Sure, I'll have a homemade grilled burger on my cheat day (Saturday), but I just don't think about them like I used to.
And that's a good thing.
Trust me, if i can change something like this, you can change whatever vice you may be struggling with.
