Is It Weird...

...that I wake up with the Rocky theme in my head?
There's a part in Rocky Balboa - Rocky VI - that I absolutely love.  (As a side note, I feel that this is the most underrated film of the series.)
He gets knocked down.  Hard.  As he is trying to get back up, he remembers something he told his son: "It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward."
Then he tells himself: "Get UP!" as the crowd chants his name.  And, against all odds, this washed-up fighter stands and gives it his all.
This is what goes through my mind every morning when the alarm goes off at 4:20.  Yesterday I worked my tail off exercising, but just because I got hit hard, doesn't mean that I'm not moving forward.
It's never easy, but in the end, when I am able to play with my kids without feeling like my chest is going to explode, I will look back and be proud of myself for doing this.
